What’s the difference between GENOME and Wall of Sound?

GENOME marks an evolution of the Wall of Sound platform and our class-leading DynIR™ Engine, adding TSM™ Amplifiers, PEDALS, a suite of pro-grade STUDIO FX and the CODEX Unification Engine. Where Wall of Sound predominantly existed as a post-amp processing tool, GENOME offers the same functionality but adds end-to-end tone shaping potential for an outright in-the-box setup.

What do you mean by end-to-end tone shaping?

GENOME is an adaptive channel strip empowering you with every tool you demand when it comes to creating standout guitar or bass sonics. Whether it’s pedals, amplifiers, cabinets or a suite of studio-grade post-processing effects, simply hook-up your guitar or bass to your interface, open the app and you’re set to create the ultimate virtual backline!

I am a Two notes hardware user, do I get a copy of GENOME for free?

You certainly do! Simply register your hardware, download GENOME and log-in using your Two notes account credentials to unlock a lifetime licence to our latest – and greatest – software ecosystem!

Can I use GENOME with my Captor / Captor X?

Absolutely! Simply line the XLR DI outputs from your Captor or Captor X into your interface, load GENOME on a suitable channel within your DAW of choice and create your very own, customised Post-Processing signal chain.

Can I use GENOME with OPUS?

You can indeed! Simply line the XLR or ¼-inch Outputs from OPUS into your interface, load GENOME on a suitable channel within your DAW of choice and create your very own, customised Post-Processing signal chain.

How can I combine GENOME with the ReVolt Series?

Simply line the XLR and/or ¼-inch Outputs from ReVolt into your interface, load GENOME on a suitable channel within your DAW of choice and create your very own, customised Post-Processing signal chain. Note: if Cabinet emulation is engaged on your ReVolt device, you will still be able to send a Dry signal to GENOME via the ¼-inch OUT Output – perfect for integration with the DynIR component and the complementary Series-G or Series-B DynIR cabinet collection.

Is GENOME a standalone application or do I have to use it in a DAW?

GENOME is available in VST3, AU, and AAX formats and can only be used within a compatible Digital Audio Workstation. At this juncture there is no standalone variant.
